Let the Mamas of Zanzibar unlock a side of Zanzibar that travelers don’t normally get to experience. A community lifestyle in Zanzibar that is authentic, hygienic, enjoyable, delicious and fun for all ages. Meet a group of passionate Zanzibari women, eager to share their daily lifestyle and rich cultural dishes with you.
This initiative was started by a Zanzibari single mother who is passionate in providing travelers the authentic experience. You will learn and taste Zanzibari traditional food, and get a hands-on training from their homes. Everything is vegetarian friendly and they’re all happy to cater to special dietary requirements.
