Activity Description
A balloon safari in the Masai Mara is a peaceful way to experience East Africa’s wilderness. Beginning at dawn, these one-hour flights offer breathtaking views of the diverse habitats, including the Mara River, swamps, forests, and savannahs. Passengers often spot the “Big Five” and other wildlife from a comfortable distance.
The journey starts early, with a 4:30-5:00 am pickup from your lodge, followed by a ride to the launch site where the balloon is prepared. After a gentle and silent flight, the safari concludes with a champagne breakfast in the bush, followed by a game drive back to the lodge.
