Payment and Cancellation Policy

Pricing & Currency

  • All prices are in US Dollars (USD) per person.

Payment Schedule (for bookings made more than 60 days before departure)

  • 25% deposit at booking (nonrefundable).
  • 25% due 30 days after booking.
  • 50% balance due 60 days before departure.

Late Bookings

  • For bookings made 60 days or less before departure, 100% payment is due at booking.

Payment Methods

  • International bank transfer (preferred).
  • Credit/debit card (Visa/MasterCard):
    • No card fee for cards issued within the EU.
    • 3.5% card fee for card payments made outside the EU.

Late Payments

  • 7-day grace period after each due date.
  • If payment is still not received, World Adventure Tours may cancel the booking and apply the cancellation policy below.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing (email).
  • 90+ days before departure: the 25% deposit is non-refundable. However, in certain cases and at our discretion, we may refund or apply a credit for any recoverable costs. Any additional payments will be refunded in full, less bank charges and any non-recoverable supplier costs.
  • 60–89 days: cancellation fee 25% of total trip cost; any additional amount paid is refunded (less non-recoverable supplier costs).
  • 30–59 days: cancellation fee 50% of total trip cost; remaining 50% refunded.
  • 15–29 days: cancellation fee 75% of total trip cost; remaining 25% refunded.
  • Less than 15 days or no-show: cancellation fee 100% of total trip cost.

Some services (e.g. internal flights, special offers, certain promotions) may be fully non-refundable once booked.

Flexible Rebooking / Credits

  • For cancellations 30+ days before departure, you may choose a travel credit instead of a refund for up to 80–100% of payments made (excluding non-refundable supplier costs), valid for 12–18 months, subject to confirmation by World Adventure Tours and supplier conditions.

Travel Insurance

  • World Adventure Tours strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and evacuation.
