World Adventure Tours does not provide travel insurance; however, travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers, travel companions, and family members to cover unforeseen travel issues such as cancellations, interruptions, delays, lost/stolen/damaged travel documents and personal property, medical expenses, and emergency transportation. Please contact us if you need advice on insurance.

Information regarding ethical travel and sexual exploitation

It is important to understand that sexual exploitation happens in some form in every country. Even though you do not witness it, it does not mean it does not exist; no country or business is immune from risk. This is of extra importance when it comes to exploitation of minors. We all have a role to play in eradicating this crime, it's not just the job of law enforcement and NGOs. We at World Adventure Tours take a strong stance against all facilitation of any type of exploitation. We apply a zero tolerance policy towards all our partners and suppliers and will terminate all relationships with any business partner that encourage, profit or tolerate such practices. Therefore we encourage you, our client, to report to us or authorities any type of sexual exploitation that you encounter during your stay.

INDEMNITY/WAIVER

Acknowledgement of Risk and Release of Liability for Participants Engaged in Safari Activities Provided by WORLD ADVENTURE TOURS This waiver of claims, release from liability, assumption of risks, agreement not to litigate, and additional terms are made by me (the "Participant") for the benefit of WORLD ADVENTURE TOURS, its owners, employees, volunteers, business operators, agents, and site property owners or lessees (the "Host"). Safari Activities include, but are not limited to, touring, sightseeing, and conveyance as a passenger in any vehicle on public or private roads, or in bush or veldt areas, facilitated by the Host.

Having thoroughly reviewed and understood this waiver prior to participating in Safari and Climbing Activities, I hereby acknowledge and agree as follows:

1. I recognize that there are inherent dangers, hazards, and risks ("Risks") connected with participation in Safari and Climbing Activities, and that injuries resulting from these Risks may occur. Such Risks include, but are not limited to:
a) the propensity for wild animals to behave unpredictably and potentially cause injury, harm, or death to persons, other animals, or property;
b) the unpredictable reaction of wild animals to stimuli such as sounds, movement, vibration, unfamiliar objects, individuals, or other animals;
c) the inherent risks posed by wild animals, reptiles, insects, and plants;
d) the possibility that other participants or individuals may act negligently, potentially causing injury;
e) transportation in vehicles (open or closed) on roads, in bush, or veldt environments.

2. I willingly accept and fully assume all responsibility for all Risks and the potential for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from my participation in Safari or Climbing Activities.

3. I acknowledge that while the Host has undertaken measures to mitigate Risks and enhance safety during Safari or Climbing Activities, absolute safety cannot be guaranteed. I accept these Risks and the terms outlined in this waiver.

4. In consideration of my participation, I and my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and assigns agree:
a) to waive all present and future claims against the Host;
b) to release and discharge the Host from all liability for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss resulting from participation in Safari or Climbing Activities, regardless of cause.
c) to indemnify and hold harmless the Host from all actions, proceedings, claims, damages, costs, demands—including legal fees—and liabilities of any nature arising from or related to my participation.

5. I confirm, of sound mind and acting voluntarily, that I agree this waiver and its terms shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Country, Region, or Territory where Safari or Climbing Activities are conducted by the Host. I irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the host country and agree that no other court shall have authority over the matters described herein. Any litigation seeking enforcement of this waiver will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of the host country.
