The best wildlife seeing months in Tanzania are amid the dry season from late June to October. The most obvious opportunity with regards to seeing the wildebeest relocation in the Serengeti is amid June and July and an opportunity to see the wildebeest calving is late January to February. The Southern and Western Circuit Parks (counting Katavi, Selous and Ruaha) are best visited amid the dry-season (June to October), dissimilar to the more well-known Northern Circuit Parks that can be visited all year. Tarangire is the only special case, since its wildlife seeing is impressively better in the dry-season too.
